Branham Lane Shelter is a 204-unit non-congregate interim housing community in San Jose that opened in February 2025 through Homekey funding. The site includes 24 family units and can serve approximately 216 residents. Each modular unit contains a kitchenette, bathroom, and storage space.
ECS assumed operations in August 2026 and provides housing-focused case management, behavioral health, employment supports, benefits assistance, housing navigation, and other stabilization services designed to help residents transition to permanent housing.
The site is expected to convert to Permanent Supportive Housing in the coming years.
