Branham Lane

Branham Lane Shelter is a 204-unit non-congregate interim housing community in San Jose that opened in February 2025 through Homekey funding. The site includes 24 adult family units and can serve approximately 216 residents. Each modular unit contains a kitchenette, bathroom, and storage space.

ECS assumed operations in August 2026 and provides housing-focused case management, behavioral health, employment supports, benefits assistance, housing navigation, and other stabilization services designed to help residents transition to permanent housing.

Guests receive on-site case management, support with service connection to city/county behavioral health and medical services, 2 meals per day, on-site laundry access and linen service, and weekly workshops and groups targeting life skills, employment and housing support, and general well-being.

The site is expected to convert to Permanent Supportive Housing in the coming years.
