Zak has spent the better part of a decade working in local politics, advocacy and public affairs. Before joining ECS, Zak was a Director at Ground Floor Public Affairs, where he specialized in providing tailored public relations services to mission driven nonprofits in the human services space, including ECS. In addition to his professional history, Zak also has lived experience with homelessness and addiction, and has held Lived Experience Leadership positions with All Home CA, Larkin Street Youth Services, and the City and County of San Francisco. A lifelong Bay Area resident, Zak is deeply passionate about ending homelessness and poverty in our communities.
