Darcy has a diverse background that blends her passion for food, sustainability, and community impact. Her journey started in traditional food service and organic farming, where she developed a deep appreciation for cultivating and preparing food that nourishes both people and the planet. She also owned her own coffee business, which taught her the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and reinforced her commitment to creating spaces where people feel connected and cared for. For the past seven years, Darcy has focused on culinary workforce development, social enterprise, and nonprofit management. These roles have allowed her to combine her love for food with a desire to create opportunities for others, helping individuals build skills and access pathways to meaningful employment. After living in Baltimore for 10 years, Darcy moved to Oakland three years ago, where she now lives with her partner and their kiddo and dog.
