The Rose Hotel 125 Sixth Street In 1999, The Rose Hotel, which is owned and operated by Mercy Services Corporation, opened with ECS providing the on-site social services for 75 individuals in partnership with Baker Places, Inc. Located South of Market on the Sixth Street corridor, the Rose continues to be a focal point for the community renaissance which has taken place over the last few years. Long a neighborhood of drugs, prostitution and crime, the Rose was hailed as one of the first efforts to create a community out of the otherwise chaotic environment.
